One of my mentors once told me that in order to run a successful company, you need to be exceptional in at least one or two skills, and smooth out the rough edges on everything else.
That reminder is not to impugn the integrity of the minutes or the staff, but there is a natural tendency to smooth off the rough edges of minority viewpoints.
