One of the many mistakes the McCain people have admitted is that they assumed that a sitting governor, by virtue of her position, would be up to the task of answering substantive questions of vital interest to the nation.

Now and then she would raise herself into a sitting position and then spend a long time with her knees drawn up while she painted her nails or, with a small hand mirror, scrutinized herself for blemishes or unwanted hair.

And although I only have word-of-mouth information on his trapeze abilities, and a picture of his tree climbing, I actually got to witness his ability to walk on his hands, starting from a sitting position on the floor where he was positioned alongside the many tables set-up at the awards banquet, he was able to pull himself up into a handstand, and walk on his hands.
