Celeno's CL1300 is the first solution of its kind to use 802.11 4x4 Implicit Beam Forming MIMO transmission technology to boost range and robustness independent of the receiving side Wi-Fi chipset technology (even single stream, singleantenna Wi-Fi clients).
All the components to make the chip, including modem, antenna, microprocessor and memory, can be fabricated as a single unit helping to keep unit costs low.
The Archer module consists of the UltraGig 6400 single chip transmitter with its intelligent beam-forming 60GHz RF transceiver, embedded antenna array, and WirelessHD 1.1 compliant network processor as well as all necessary external components on a single, flex- print cable module.
