Neighbours Patricia Harrison and Linda Madagen were set to move into new properties and have their homes in Edge Hill demolished as part of a housing renewal programme.
They sued a set of lenders who ran a subprime scheme in which they induced homeowners to load theirproperties with expensive debt and allegedly reaped illegally high fees in the process.
