Washington (CNN) -- One hundred and fifty new full-body scanning machines are set to be placed in airports across the United States as federal authorities work to close securityloopholes exposed by the attempted Christmas Day bombing of a U.S.-bound airliner.
Among the items on the table for discussion and negotiation were raising taxes, revamping the tax code, plugging tax loopholes, lowering the 35% corporate tax rate, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and the federal retirement program.
Grassley sent a letter and list of questions Friday to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, asking her about the apparent visa lapse with Tazhayakov and other possible loopholes.
