The roundtable on journalism ethics and media self-regulation in Croatia was held at the premises of the editorial board of Zadarski list, within the framework of the project, Alignment to International Standards in the Media Sector of South-East European Countries, supported by the European Commission and UNESCO.

The meeting will mark the conclusion of the project "Alignment to International Standards in the Media Sector of South East-European Countries", funded by the European Commission and implemented by UNESCO with the collaboration of the South-East European Network for Professionalization of Media (SEENPM), the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and the Alliance of Independent Press Councils of Europe (AIPCE).

The center also endorses reforms of the military healthcare and retirement systems aimed at bringing compensation levels into closer alignment with the pay and benefits of private-sector workers.

Additionally, their understanding of attack methodologies can be used to better define requirements for those trying to defend enterprise networks in the government domain, which bear near identical alignment with those trying to defend infrastructures in the private sector and build better security products.

To effectively achieve the goals identified above, the United States must strengthen its own capacity to plan, synchronize, and implement security sector assistance through a deliberate and inclusive whole-of-government process that ensures alignment of activities and resources with our national security priorities.
