So I recommend that prospective buyers view the CrossPad mainly as a means to archive images of handwritten notes and sketches for convenient storage and searching, rather than as a way to convert lots of handwriting to editable computer text.
There was no Gmail, email storage was minimal, searching past emails was a disaster and we were, for the most part, limited to what data was on the hard drive in our home or office.
