The largest social science research initiative ever undertaken in the United Kingdom says industry and government alike are failing to exploit the potential of scienceandtechnology to protect the environment.
The programme includes an illustrative exhibition, screening of scientific films, popular science talk and student activities, which aims to sensitize the students and the general visitors about the potential use of scienceandtechnology for the sustainable development.
The Science Policy Ministerial Meetings of South East Europe, a ministerial round table and an expert meeting, are jointly organized by the UNESCO Venice Office and the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 22-23 November 2012 in order to discuss science priorities andpotential regional strategies to strengthen Research, Technologyand Innovation in SEE.
