According to some Egypt-watchers, the military generals, realizing that the Brotherhood's candidate Mohamed Mursi will be the winner of the presidential race, are now seeking to strike a deal on a "safe exit", which would grant them immunity against prosecution.
After initial reluctance -- the government preferred to give the Jews safe haven in the capital city -- Yemen agreed to issue exit permits and passports.
The deal between Cyprus and its creditors dampened market speculation that the country could be the first to exit the Euro Zone, which triggered a mild unwind of some of the recent safe-haven bid seen into gold prices.
As the OBR noted last year, it is also possible that a Greek exit would push down the UK government's cost of borrowing even lower, due to safe haven flows into sterling.
