Yesterday, the Russianspaceprogram successfully launched its Progress spacecraft, which is set to dock with the International Space Station on Wednesday.
But then the Russianspaceprogram successfully launched a crew of three to the ISS earlier this week, giving the station its first full complement since September.
With another successful launch under its belt, and assuming a successful dock on Wednesday, the success of SpaceX means that NASA is no longer solely reliant on the Russianspaceprogram to send supplies and cargo to the International Space Station.
This comes as a pretty big blow to the Russianspaceprogram, which had just emerged from its failed launch in April to have successfully launched its Progress 45 unmanned spacecraft and also successfully docked it with the International Space Station.
