SpaceX from Southern California, successfully launched and recovered the first private supplyrocket to the International Space Station (ISS) in May of this year.
Since the retirement of its space shuttles, NASA has hired out supply missions to the International Space Station to the private rocket company SpaceX.
If the world oil supply peaked one day and then fell away sharply, prices would indeed rocket, shortages and panic buying would wreak havoc and a global recession would ensue.
