The Bike Score is the a quantitative measure of the bikeability of a location based on the availability bike lanes, hilliness, roadconnectivity, nearby amenities, and the percent of people in that area who bike to work.
"Mobile computing and broadband connectivity have already become indispensable tools in the road warrior's arsenal, " said Fram Akiki, senior director of product management for Qualcomm CDMA Technologies.
They reflect the demands of consumers who spend an inordinate amount of time on the road and want better fuel efficiency without compromising performance, seamless digital connectivity and at least the promise of a car that runs on electricity and is fun to drive.
