Anand, whose favorite car is the Mahindra Bolero, has lately been spotted in a Rexton SUV, made by the Korean subsidiary and recently launched in India.
The Korean automaker's midpriced utility vehicles, notably the Korando and the Rexton, plus the Chairman luxury sedan, fill a gap in Mahindra's portfolio, which is dominated by low-priced off-roaders.
