The broadband wireless network operator made the comments in response to a Bloomberg story yesterday which said the company had talked to Blackstone Group about possible financial restructuring alternatives.
The investigation found the call, which referred to an attempted overdose, should have received an urgent response but the priority level was incorrectly downgraded by a radio operator.
Then after the accident the confusion of responsibility between BP, the oil rig operator, and federal and local government slowed down the response and created disjointed and unclear communications.
