Zampella will make his first public appearance since creating Respawn with West by keynoting the Los Angeles 3D Gaming and Beyond Summit at Hollywood and Highland on September 22.
Although the game is free-to-play, it offers the chance to purchase premium accounts, giving you a new gun, an item that gives you a shorter respawn time, and one that heals you once per spawn.
The latter example especially about the duo screwing employees out of stock options seems a bit shaky, as many who left Infinity Ward after West and Zampella split went on to join up with their new company, Respawn.
Capable of being applied to soldiers and vehicles alike, this could make the real act of soldiering a whole lot more like a video game (minus the whole "infinite respawn" thing), with HUDs showing you how much "shield" you have left.
