Alliander is a major Dutch energy distributor and specialist inrenewableenergy, sustainability, technical innovations, and complex powersystemsin the Netherlands, serving more than three million customers in the region.
Currently, it offers a 30 percent tax credit for any business investing in solar energy and a renewableenergy grant equal to that 30 percent to businesses purchasing solar powersystems.
"The RSEP program is a key initiative in the Marine Corps' expeditionary powersystems portfolio for advanced power sources that embrace renewableenergysystems as a means to reduce fossil fuel requirements, " said Mike Gallagher, program manager for expeditionary powersystems at Marine Corps Systems Command, which will work with ONR to transition the technology to the field.
