The legal counsel for Florida's county election officials recommended halting the purge of names until the state responded to the federal government's legal assessment.
The commission said the problems were mainly a result of limited testing and insufficient planning prior to the election - and recommended a minimum of six months for implementation.
While two shareholder advisory groups had recommended that investors oppose the re-election of some of the directors, investors gave them a nod for another year-long term.
And some House Republicans are even returning money that they got from Tom DeLay's political action committees, even though Republican re-election campaign officials have so far not recommended returning any of that money.
