Kimi Raikkonen said a strike would "never happen, " while David Coulthard dismissed talk of a strike as rubbish.
"Our plan was to do two stops and though it's always difficult in the first races to know when to stop and not go too early, we got it exactly right, " Raikkonen said.
"We have to just take what we can from every race, " said Raikkonen, who was 9.3 seconds behind Alonso.
"We were second fastest which was good, and we've managed to improve the setup on my car over the last few races so I've been pretty happy with it, " said Raikkonen.
"I'm not really thinking beyond this season at the moment, but I'm sure there will be talk before the end of the year, " said Raikkonen, who will turn 34 in October.
"It wasn't easy with the traffic, people going off and the yellow flags but we went through to the second qualifying session tomorrow so it's not all bad, " said 2007 world champion Raikkonen.
"I think most guys would have thought it was a little bit cheeky to attack (Raikkonen) again in that way, " said Webber.
Boullier said the 32-year-old Raikkonen, who collected another podium finish at last weekend's Spanish Grand Prix, has adapted well to life at Lotus' Enstone headquarters.
Raikkonen is trying to find a drive in the world rally championship, Roberston said, although nothing had yet been sorted out.
Boullier said there was a good relationship building between experienced former Ferrari driver Raikkonen, who is is in his 10th F1 campaign, and Frenchman Grosjean -- a 26-year-old who has yet to complete a full season.
"The first three cars were a little bit too fast for us and regarding looking after the tires, they did a better job, " said Vettel, who leads the championship by four points from Lotus's Kimi Raikkonen (who finished second on Sunday).
Dennis said he was excited about the prospects of his new driver line-up of Kimi Raikkonen and Juan Pablo Montoya.
