Rep. Henry Hyde (R-Ill.) told CNN's "Late Edition" on Sunday that he president would most likely receive "civil, polite, restrained applause" from lawmakers.
The senators said they welcomed a recent overture made by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Henry Hyde (R-Illinois) on a possible compromise, but said that it did not go far enough.
"It isn't much good to say you have the right to get your property back if you can't afford a lawyer, " said the late Rep. Henry Hyde (R-Ill.) at a 1999 congressional hearing.
