Tremendous energy has been focused on the question of the appropriate expectations, goals and methodology for selecting investment managers for pension funds.
The glitch which causes me indigestion and thus to question the credibility of such optimism is the suspect methodology under which this appraisal took place.
One question I raised with Prof Jacobson was whether, using their methodology, you could say what the rates would have been if there were a threshold - if low doses had no effect.
It therefore behooves those companies afflicted with leaks to start with a very simple question--what should we be doing to make leaks less attractive as a methodology to solve internal concerns or disagreements?
