Lucid2 by LG features a compact, stylish design that makes it easy to grip and is equipped with a big, bright 4.3-inch qHD Advanced High Performance (AH) In-Plane-Switching (IPS) display that enhances the viewing experience for watching videos, reading eBooks and browsing the web in stunning clarity and natural color.
It's hard to say what the culprit is, but if we had to guess, we'd point our finger at Sense and the amount of pixels rendered on the Vivid's qHD screen versus the Skyrocket's WVGA. The Vivid's consistent loss to Moto's similarly clocked beastie and its TI OMAP 4430 processor also caught us off guard.
We don't see any major surprises in specs -- there's a dual-core Tegra 2 1GHz processor, 4.3-inch qHD screen, 8MP rear camera, and 1080p HDMI-out video, to list off the highlights -- although we are excited to see Gingerbread may be in the mix here, indicated by the ever-so-subtle blue bar seen on the phone's screen.
That would be pretty decent for the specs we know so far: 4.5-inch qHD IPS gapless display, MSM8225Q quad-core chip, dual-SIM support, an eight-megapixel main camera (which produced reasonably good photos, from what we could see), a two-megapixel front-facing camera, and Baidu cloud service integration with 15GB of storage for life, plus another 15GB free for one year.
