According to Audit Integrity, there is a strong correlation between poor scores on its tests and the likelihood of accounting or other irregularities cropping up at a future date.
Patrick Butler of the National Organization of Women Foundation says the correlation exists because poor people have fewer cars and put more miles on them, thereby increasing the likelihood they'll get into an accident.
