Put differently, megabanking creates systemic risks so big in scope and scale that the only rational policy response is to respond with regulations that actually strengthen the characteristics of the system, intensifying the risk.
Taking these super wicked problem characteristics into account, requires a new way of framing climate policy solutions: less talk of mandates and higher energy costs and more talk on building competitive clean energy solutions that all Americans (and the rest of the world) can implement.
Many will go on to jobs in industry, government, policy, regulation and law-enforcement that draw on their understanding of the social as well as technological characteristics of the internet and support their employers in securing the digital realm from multiple categories of threat.
