He stated that his own situation within the residence was that he was a part-time resident who had gotten an apartment with friends but spent a lot of time at home.
The tech manufacturer has been keen to accept responsibility for its part in the situation, advising strong action will be taken against any full-time members of staff found to have played a part in the breach.
"Part-time student numbers have been falling since the economic crisis began but the government have created an unsustainable situation by jacking up fees placing a huge burden on potential students, " she said.
