Otiselevators and escalators is the largest business division of United Technologies, constituting nearly 30% of the overall company value according to our analysis.
The announcement comes the same day that United Technologies, maker of Otiselevators and Hamilton Sundstrand aircraft parts, dimmed its outlook for the year.
Thus, in order to take advantage of this growth, United Technologies has opened a new manufacturing facility for Otiselevators in Chongqing in southwestern China.
