But he also presents a different side of Nigeria: the dedicated human-rights lawyer, the gentle priest, the courageous journalist and a cast of ordinary people struggling to lead decent, honest lives in a country governed by insanity.
And so I think that the thing that will actually achieve stability in that region is if young people, if ordinary folks end up feeling that there are pathways for them to feed their families, get a decent job, get an education, aspire to a better life.
And they show the world that ordinary people in the Middle East want the same things for their children that we want for ours -- a decent life and a peaceful future.
