The British Olympic Association has invited owners of 48 football and rugby grounds across the UK to express an interest in being one of six stadia which could be involved in hosting the Olympic football tournament.
In a statement from her office on Friday, the California Democrat encouraged people to express their views in San Francisco next month when the Olympic torch passes through on its worldwide trek.
Neath-based Express Reinforcements won a contract from the main contractor building the Olympic Stadium, while Euroclad in Cardiff won contracts on both the Olympic Stadium and the main broadcast centre.
