And then there's the simulated white-water rafting adventure at Miyazaki's OceanDome (81-985 21-1111), which injects a little bit of "real" reality by splashing actual water at riders as they drift down a violent torrent on the screen.
Yet taken together it forms a fascinating survey of the ways different artists have responded to the same set of givens: the land, the ocean, the dome of sky above and the uniquely glimmering light.
