We never dealt with the cable tangling up or transferring loads of cablenoise into the earcups, and we're very impressed with the feel of the inline remote.
Sadly, there is still a fair bit of cable-noise while walking around, that is unless you opt for the "sport fit" by wrapping the wires behind your ears.
