The start of the Games was overshadowed by the death of Georgian luger Nodar Kumaritashvili and there have been ongoing problems caused by unsuitable weather.
The general manager of TAM, Nodar Beridze, was among the delegates who toured the proposed site at the Rotherwas Enterprise Zone on the outskirts of Hereford.
Early on the opening day, a Georgian athlete, Nodar Kumaritashvili, was killed during a practice run when his luge flipped over, throwing him into a steel pole and raising questions about the track's safety.
That was despite him crashing in both the two and four-man competitions on the same Whistler track which had claimed the life of Georgian luger Nodar Kumaritashvili on the day of the opening ceremony.
