David Cameron has dismissed calls for UKIP leader Nigel Farage to be allowed to take part in the leaders' debates at the next general election, due in 2015.
She was reacting to a speech by UKIP leader Nigel Farage, who urged her to tell Mr Cameron the time had come for "a simple amicable divorce" as feeling in the UK runs completely against the tide of the greater EU integration being promoted by the German leader.
New leader Nigel Farage wants to broaden UKIP from a single-issue party to occupy ground vacated David Cameron's Conservatives on issues such as immigration, taxation and education.
"Clearly a huge victory for David Cameron: looks like he's managed to increase the UK contributions, " its leader Nigel Farage said in a Twitter message.
