Vonage, one of the leading VoIP vendors in the U.S., has over 400, 000 paying customers, and the National Cable and Telecommunications Association estimates there are already more than 450, 000 cable VoIP subscribers.

The U.S. cable industry now has 25 million digital cable customers, 20 million high-speed Internet customers and 3 million telephone customers, according to the National Cable and Telecommunications Association (NCTA).
