Mr Barber said he was upset for his father who spent 60 years at the shop.

Mr Barber announced to the Blackpool conference that the TUC's Know Your Rights number would be printed on the back of every NUS membership card from next September.
But Mr Barber warned that the report presented tough choices.

Mr Barber said it was "right to prosecute organised crime" but that "too rigid a focus will send the signal that routine exploitation will be ignored by the authorities".
But, as Mr Barber made clear for the first time, the private firms will actually be allowed to take over the running of schools and not just to provide support services.
On transport, rail patronage had increased which should be welcomed but it had to recognised that it put stress on a system that had suffered underinvestment over the years, said Mr Barber.
Events will "range from strike action, where ballot mandates have been secured from members and unions judge that appropriate, through to lunchtime meetings, rallies and joint events with community groups and service users", Mr Barber said.
Mr Barber, who has worked at the shop for 45 years, said the ledgers contained details of wages and other transactions to do with the business and his father would look at them and show them to customers.
Asked about Mr Barber's criticism of government cuts, she said ministers recognised that times are tough but the government had to deal with the deficit and get public spending under control to get the economy back on track.
Mr Barber said the government had "set the cruel and mistaken objective of getting rid of the deficit in just four years" - and he called for a "movement for the alternative" based on fair tax and growth.
"My hope is that what happened today can help all of us move forward, " said Mr. Barber, who now holds Ms. Giffords's congressional seat.
