Miho Fukumoto, Japan's goalkeeper, said the team is well aware they can't win foot races or wrestling matches against the U.S., but that doesn't matter.
Texas Instruments said it expects to be able to shift 60% of the production at its Miho plant to other facilities and believes about 40% of the products at the plant can be recovered.
Elsewhere in semiconductors, Texas Instruments had much of its capacity to make analog chips knocked out with its Miho fab going down until May and full production not likely to resume until July.
