"For advanced countries, more imports today are coming from middle- and low-income countries, " says Matthew Slaughter of Dartmouth's Tuck School of Business, a former Bush White House adviser.
This program will provide extra help to middle- and high school students who fall behind in reading and math, expand Advanced Placement programs in low-income schools, and invite math and science professionals from the private sector to teach part-time in our high schools.
They also need to be firm that innovative private sector solutions like Public Private Partnerships and other fully private sector-based investments must be advanced to drastically reduce the exposure of particularly middle income Americans from the high costs of these projects.
