The MichaelForever concert has been criticised for coinciding with the trial in Los Angeles of the singer's physician Dr Conrad Murray, who denies involuntary manslaughter.
And thank you, Michael, for leaving us music that will forever hold you dear in our hearts and dance moves that will continue to summon us to the dance floor.
It was crafted by two big theater names: writer Theresa Rebeck, whose play "Seminar" is on Broadway, and director Michael Mayer, whose remake of "On a Clear Day You Can See Forever" just opened (see review, page D11).
