During her seven-year tenure as senior curator for London's DesignMuseum, she was responsible for staging some of that institution's most memorable shows, including the first British retrospectives of the influential industrial designer Marc Newson and the graphic designer Peter Saville, who created album covers for musical artists like Joy Division and New Order.
Ms. Yeung has already made her mark on the West: Her spiky heels are in the permanent costume collection of London's Victoria and Albert Museum as representations of contemporary Chinese design.
