The Apple version works on all iPads, the latest iPod Touch and the iPhone 4 and 4S. Rockstar has posted a list of supported Android devices as well.

The Fitbug Wow Bluetooth-enable scales will connect to a similar list of iOS devices, although there's no word on Android compatibility yet.

Another use case mentioned was a collaborative playlist, where a bunch of friends hanging out with their Android devices can each contribute songs to the list from their Google Play accounts.
