It aims to contribute towards better prioritization of ICT in the education sector, to strengthen all the information institutions and to improve equitable access to information and learningresources.
Mr Davies said when completed the new library would have an "excellent collection of books, electronic resources", information technology, WiFI access and learning and meeting rooms.
