"The valuation he's placing on this land is far in excess of anything in Manchester and would make it equivalent to the most expensive plots in the most exclusive areas of London, " he said.
The roundtable also highlighted new tools and approaches such as the guidance on corporate ecosystem valuation from the World Business Council for Sustainable Development ( WBCSD), the biodiversity-responsible land management certification from the Green Development Initiative ( GDI), and the new guidance on ecosystems assessment from the International Petroleum Industry Environmental Conservation association ( IPIECA).
"When the property was put on the market by Summer Isles Foods, Coigach Community Development Company, under the Land Reform Act duly notified ministers that they wished to proceed and ministers appointed a valuer to carry out a valuation, " it stated.
