In 2010, emissions from electricity grid activity in Scotland were estimated to amount to 347 grams of carbon dioxide per Kilowatthour(kWh) of electricity generated.
As noted by Peter Wilson in the American Thinker, Cape Wind has entered into a separate agreement with another utility, National Grid, to sell them their electricity for 18.7 cents per kilowatthour(kWh) with a 3.5% annual increase over the next 15 years.
Although he refuses to reveal figures, Mr Ghosn says the cost per kilowatt-hour (kWh) of battery capacity for Renault-Nissan cars has fallen by half in four years.
This has placed solar power costs at an equivalent of 59 cents per kilowatthour, compared with between three and ten cents per kWh for conventional electricity.
