Acabiz came up with the idea of a knowledgemarketplace out of a desire to create a platform for academics to connect with businesses, governments and NGOs.
This knowledge gap is referred to in the marketplace as information asymmetry and it is money in the bank (literally) for an organization that is willing and able to trade ahead of other market participants, its own clients included.
But in a world of rapid change in the marketplace, of an increasing proportion of knowledge work, of increasing technical complexity of the work, and where customers who do not even know themselves what will delight them, stable predictable work environments are largely a thing of the past.
