Mr Joslin's family said the complaints he had relating to the colleague dated back to 2007.
Mr Joslin had been a journalist for most of his working life, reporting mainly in the Midlands.
Joslin, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School, contracts with clinics and hospitals to establish diabetes-care programs around the country.

Warwickshire coroner Sean McGovern said a post-mortem examination had taken place and preliminary tests found Mr Joslin died from asphyxiation.

Joslin is tapping on the brakes, going for a riskless deflation hedge in the form of U.S. Treasury securities and high-quality corporate bonds.
Mr Joslin was hit by a bus on 19 October and admitted to Warwick Hospital, and then to nearby St Michael's psychiatric hospital.
Russell Joslin, who worked for BBC Coventry and Warwickshire and had complained of sexual harassment by a female colleague, died on 22 October.
Mr Joslin, who lived in Kenilworth in Warwickshire, had been a journalist for most of his working life, reporting mainly in the Midlands.
The family of Mr Joslin, 50, had called for an inquiry into allegations by the reporter that he was sexually harassed by a female colleague.
Mr Joslin's father Peter previously said his son, who had mental health problems over the past six months, should have received more help from BBC managers.
"We have discussed these actions with the Joslin family and believe that they address the areas which, for Russell, were not good enough, " said the BBC.
Peter Joslin said there had been "plenty of opportunities" for managers at the BBC to intervene after his son complained, but "nothing had been done to help him".

Peter Joslin, the former chief constable of Warwickshire Police, said that since the alleged sexual harassment in 2007 his son had asked to move to a different job, but had been told he was unable to do so.
The corporation said that while it was "an extreme case", it was "determined" to "learn lessons" from Mr Joslin's death and outlined a number of actions it plans to take, including the introduction of a confidential helpline for staff to raise concerns.
"Considering the number of patients who are aging and how many more we are going to see, we have to look for the barriers this population encounters and what we can do to help them overcome them, " says lead author Medha Munshi, who served on the consensus panel and heads Joslin's Geriatric Diabetes Clinic.
