The two other proposed sites are land next to the JohnMarley Centre, Norland Road, Scotswood, and land south of Armstrong Road, near the junction with Whitehouse Road, Scotswood.
Three sites have been shortlisted for the new academy - the existing Westgate college site, land south of Armstrong Road in Benwell, and the third site was land next to the JohnMarley Centre.
