The industry is not as competitive as it might seem, in part because of consumer inertia, in part because many of its terms and conditions are so hardtounderstand.
Ichiro Murata, a director at the Academy of Management Development, which lists many of Japan's corporate giants among its clients, says it is hardto find good teachers who understand both technology and business.
