The project is a joint venture between the Mongolian government (34%) and Ivanhoe Mines of Canada (66%), which is in turn 49% owned by Rio Tinto, the mining giant that is managing OT and has put up most of the money.
Not being an expert in gun control or an advocate one way or the other, I do know the current system does not work and it is time for people on both sides ot the debate to agree that saving lives is an important enough goal to change the system.
