Blowing with hurricane-force winds of more than 80 mph in places, the storm hit hard along the heavily populated Interstate95 corridor between New York City and Maine.
But it's heavily traveled by commercial trucks hauling goods between Atlanta and Savannah's busy seaport, and is often used by travelers as a route to Interstate95 along the Eastern Seaboard.
No specific projects are named, but officials with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation told CNN that parts of Interstate95 in Philadelphia would be ready for major repairs to start if federal money were available.
