The Proshares Ultra Semiconductors (USD) and the iShares PHLX SOX Semiconductor Sector Index Fund (SOXX) may also be impacted by the forecasts.
Banks also dropped sharply, and the index for that sector slid 1.9%.
And that PHLX Housing Sector Index may finally start to march upward.
The Chicago PMI will be released on Tuesday, the ISM Mfg Index on Wednesday, and the ISM non-mfg Index (services sector) on Friday.

Other ETF standouts include the iShares MSCI ACWI ex US Financials Sector Index Fund (AXFN), outperforming with a 4.4% gain over the period.
The iShares MSCI ACWI ex US Materials Sector Index Fund ETF ( AXMT) outperformed other ETFs over the last five days, up about 6.7%.
Some ETFs she likes include SSgA Money Market Fund (SSMXX), SSgA Prime Money Market Fund (SVPXX) and iShares Dow Jones Financial Sector Index Fund (IYF).
