An index measuring the flow of goods through the U.S. by looking into diesel fuel consumption showed a slight monthly drop in April after having gained substantially in March.
One piece of data worth noting, other than the fact that equity investments are piling out of advanced Europe: U.S. equities, despite outperforming the MSCI Emerging Market index by far, are not seeing the same kind of flow.
If looking at a 10-K (an annual report required by the SEC) or analyzing a cash-flow statement puts you to sleep, then you should consider using index funds instead.
