An additional innovation of this programme is the design of context-based materials by a multidisciplinary team including educators and designers who are in charge of writing the content, selecting material, editing and producing the multimedia resources.
Several eco-friendly construction and design features helped the building earn a total of 43 points towards LEED Gold certification including the use of materials with recycled content, regionally sourced materials, energy efficiency upgrades and windows with a special coating to reduce heat transmission.
